So running this website is not my “real job.” In fact, teaching technology to small children is not my real job either. My real job is Assistant Junior Kindergarten Teacher, which means doing everything I can to help my fabulous teaching partner implement her amazing early childhood curriculum.  She’s generous enough with her program that she lets me add in technology when it seems to fit well, or when I get particularly excited about some new techie thing I’ve dreamed up. 🙂  Together, we’ve explored ways to start using iPads in our program.  But because this website is not my job, it means that all the work I do for it  (writing, editing and creating images, formatting the pages, designing  and maintaining the “behind the scenes” aspects of the site) happens in the evenings and on the weekends. It also means that all of the money I put into this site (paying for hosting, buying apps to try, etc.) comes from my pocket. That’s why I include affiliate links in some of my posts. This means that if you click on a link from Amazon or iTunes and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission. I also put ads on my sidebar for the same reason. The money that I make from these links and ads helps offset the costs associated with running this site. Below you’ll find all of the official legal wording  to explain this. Thanks for visiting my site. It represents all of my passions: working with young children, teaching with technology and creating a website full of helpful content.  It is my hope that the things I share here are truly useful to the people who visit.
